New Line of Sight provides a great opportunity to practice marksmanship in Battlefield 1. So, grab your sniper rifle and give it a shot. If you’re feeling lucky, play the objective. There’s more risk and more reward. Hopefully, it will pull the non-teamplay snipers from conquest.

There is a new way to play Battlefield 1 today, as the World War I shooter's hardcore servers have gone live. EA announced on Twitter that the hardcore servers launched on all platforms--Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC--today at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET.

In a blog post, EA said Battlefield 1's hardcore servers are targeted at 'elite' players. 'Playing on a hardcore server, you might not be assisted by a minimap, crosshair, or the ability to spot enemies depending on the server settings,' the developer explained.

Hardcore servers for Battlefield 1 were announced last week. The introduction of hardcore servers for Battlefield 1 is just one of the changes that came with the game's massive Fall update. Developer DICE has also made changes to the Suez map, tweaked weapon balance, and a lot more. See the full patch notes here to get a full rundown of what's changed.

Battlefield 1's first DLC map, Giant's Shadow, launches in December free to all players.
