Great little camera, sad that it is out of production with no follow-on in the GM line. Having had a GX7, I can say that the photo quality is just as good on the GM5. The best part is the size.

I just bought a week ago the GM5 with 12-32 kit lens and a Photodiox K-mount adapter. I post my first impressions as this camera will probably soon be discontinued and is now sold discounted, at entry level prices.

I am not a photography expert but just someone who wants to take good pictures rather than the OK ones that I take with my smart phone, but not with a huge professional camera, bag, lenses and and all the bits and pieces that you see our Japanese friends carrying when they are on holiday.

I have several Panasonic micro 4/3rds cameras and lenses, and recently bought a used GM5 specifically as my walk-around camera, the one I always have on me. Plusses: It's tiny, and you can fit it in a coat pocket, like a Leica CL.

Body is clean and like new. but I received 'Japanese' version. it only support Japanese language :( and battery charger, ac cable are not included. haha..

Very pocketable camera with acceptable performance. I bought this camera as a backup to my Olympus OM-D E-M5, and it feels very small in the hands. I use it with my 15mm Summilux lens. Although it doesn't have IBIS (stabilization), adding a Cotta thumbgrip makes it feel secure in the hands.

Great camera but attention only Japanese language is available and no way to change it . It would be better to highlight that in BOLD in the specs before adding to cart. You'll take great pictures though.

The camera malfunctioned the first time we tried to use it during a trip, and we could not take any pictures. The error message was 'turn the camera off and on again' but nothing happened, the same message kept coming back again and again.
