Outlook Stuck On Processing
“Outlook 2016 stuck on processing” is a common problem with Outlook 2016 and with Windows 10. It’s more commonly seen with Windows 10, but I have seen it happen with Windows 7. I am a Microsoft Outlook Expert and get these calls often. My last client clicked on the “Upgrade” button (from 2013 to 2016) and that did it for him.
I have installed the Office 2016 suite in my Surface Pro 3 tablet and all other Office Programs are fine properly except Outlook 2016 app. When I tried to open the outlook, it could not load past startup and kept stating “processing” screen. I uninstalled the software completely and reinstalled it with the automatic repair as well as disabled hardware graphics acceleration, but that was still not working at all.

I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and also noticed that the Outlook 2016 stucked at Starting and processing, while I can access the web app through browser. Creating a new profile doesn’t help me. Here are some method to resolve the problem.
The work-around by clearing the related datas worked for me
* Open the Windows explorer, navigate to the location below: C:Users
* Delete all files with .nst and .ost extensions.
* Then restart the outlook and recreat your upon account setting.
Troubleshooting COM Add-Ins by this way. Press the Ctrl key from your keyboard when starting Outlook. If the app open normally in Safe Mode, the issues may be caused by add-ins for the application.
* Click the File tab, go to Options > Add-ins.
* In the Manage section, select COM Add-ins and click on Go button.
* Uncheck all Add-ins and then click OK.
If that indicates that your Navigation Pane settings holds a corruption, you need to preform the resetnavpane to get rid of it.
* Press the Win + R from the keyboard, input the command:
Outlook.exe /resetnavpane
and hit OK to execute it.
You can also type outlook.exe /resetnavpane into the search box, and selectt it to open Outlook with the resetnavpane switch.
