Hey everyone, there is a very popular mod out there out on the Steam Workshop that has been updated recently by the developer with malicious intent. With over one million people subscribed to it. (Granted 99% of these players are no longer active, but it just shows you how popular the mod is)
As you can see in this video I made here, several item menus are missing when I turn on the Helms Deep mod. As well as mutations no longer being allowed to be played as well as removing a significant chunk of them. Menus such as single player and the blog post have been removed, which makes no sense for a map mod. At all.
The modder, SeriouS_Samurai has been doing malicious changes that nobody ever asked for, nor are any of these changes stated in the change log. Instead, they're located here. It states that several mutations have been removed with no legitimate reason. It also states that it removes film grain, something I just learned today, Steam Group Server UI has been removed.

He also attempted a DMCA take down of a mod that Jaiz created that fixes the UI changes that the original developer made several months ago. I would not be surprised if he attempted to try and take down my video. You can find this here.
